Debt Collecting in a Coffee Shop from Spain was a Revelation! On a rainy day in Spain following a short walk, an Internet Coffee Shop became our satellite office for a few hours! Bad Weather delayed plans for an excursion one morning on vacation in Spain. With a few impromptu hours suddenly available we headed for the local Internet Coffee shop to catch up on things back at the office. There were no panics at the office in Southampton as we browsed through the recent calls and only a few routine emails requiring our attention. We had however received a QMS (embedded instant message service within i-Tr@der) from our Bookkeepers in Dorset regarding a couple of long outstanding accounts requesting our intervention in the debt collection process. We quickly deployed the Skype phone brought up the contact records and the Account histories for the customers concerned and made the necessary calls. The extraordinary circumstances under which we were able to chase these accounts coupled with the holiday 'mood' , resulted in a far better set of debt collection results than we ever managed at the office. The ability to not only retain contact with the office whilst away but in addition access all the company's information and records is a new dimension in Business Systems and once this revelation is experienced there is no turning back! | |||||||||||||
