'Entrepreneurs have all got them! Parked ideas, things on the backburner because of time constraints. Let's get them moving again!'

When we get to this stage in the process we have come a long way ! Let's just have a quick recap :-
- Embraced the need to change and set some Life and Business goals
- Analysed our business and looked at the processes we need to deploy
Implemented a Business Platform on which to build good business processes and open the business up for collaboration and future business opportunities via the Internet
- Built an Internet marketing department to build our brands and increase sales
- Identified and built relationships with any relevant outsource services
This may have taken as long as one year or so to achieve, it may have happened much quicker than that, what is crucial is that the business is now leaner, fitter, more flexible and more agile. At this point the business can start to function with or without you, suddenly you have your life back !
Now we enter a point of reflection, look back at the milestones already achieved and revisit the goals and objectives. For some this might have been the dream, the destination (for now), with more time and more money. A business on virtual auto pilot and all the processes in place to keep it on track.
A few hours a week with the Management team to review the main Key Business Indices (KBI's) or to discuss new challenges might be all the business needs to flourish.
For many though, this represents a staging point. We've done it once, why not do it again ? Perhaps now is the time to bring some of those Parked Ideas out of the closet. These might be related to the existing business but there was never enough time to pursue them. The ideas might be complimentary to the current enterprise but a distraction to have tabled earlier. It might be these parked ideas are great but with no relevance at all to the existing company(s), possibly a hobby or a passion that can be exploited with a friend or acquaintance.
Armed with your knowledge of business, the Internet, Business Applications and some good external resources ideas can quickly become a reality. 'Time' the missing ingredient is back on your side and second / third / fourth time, each time around it gets easier. With confidence and experience, and working because you WANT to work not because you HAVE to work, you can do as much or as little as you choose!
